Carnegie Companies is pleased to announce the sale of a free-standing Chipotle in Salem, OH. Carnegie entered into a build-to-suit lease agreement with Chipotle and re-developed the former gas station parcel into a Chipotle in 2020. This development added significant value, by converting what was a low rent ground lease into a high rent, high credit tenancy. This parcel was originally acquired in conjunction with the larger Giant Eagle anchored Eastgate Shopping Center in 2004. Carnegie still owns and manages the shopping center and recently extended Giant Eagle on a long-term lease
