Some of the great ways that the Carnegie team gave back to the community in 2018:
Carnegie staff had a great time giving back to those in need by volunteering at The Greater Cleveland Foodbank again this year. We sorted through hundreds of pounds of food to be provided to food pantries and individuals across the region.
In November, the male members of our team participated in Movember, an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. The Movember Foundation is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round.
We are proud to report that our United Way Employee Campaign had 100% employee participation again this year! Kudos to our Carnegie team!
In December, we participated in Cleveland Housing Network’s Adopt-a-Family project. The staff donated and wrapped dozens of gifts for a family of 4 who otherwise would have had a very sparse holiday season. We wish we could have seen the look on the children’s faces when they saw the load of gifts!
